Send a smile to Poppy…it’s easy, takes nothing more than a piece of paper and some coloured pencils, or crayons…click here to see some of those that have already arrived and do wonders for cheering her up. Read on to see where to send your pictures and smiles….

I have a very simple, small favour to ask that will mean a lot to me and bring happiness and distraction to my sister’s little 7 year old daughter. And so here is my ask.
Both Poppy and my sister are in need of something happy to take their minds off what lays ahead, over the next few days, the next few weeks, and months. I have been working on collecting pictures to send to Poppy, to have her look forward to the mail bag each day. She is already anticipating receiving a picture from my daughter and will be beside herself to receive others. Hopefully, it will also give my sister distraction from watching something so precious to her be so ill.
I am asking for people to take ten minutes to make a picture, to have their children do a painting, drawing, collage, stickers….anything and be a part of « Pictures for Poppy ».

I can upload those in France to the website and eventually, Poppy and her mum will do the same at their end to give them something to do while passing the time in the hospital ward. Perhaps this will become a project for both of them that will be as enormous as the battle that Poppy has ahead of her.
Pictures can be sent to Poppy at :

Note re Gallery2: the Gallery is Lost. Not sure where it went or why! Photos will be uploaded to Flickr.

Hi, Poppy I just wanted to say a few words to try and help you feel a little better. You are a strong and beautiful little girl w/ your whole world ahead of you, don’t ever stop fighting and stay calm and have faith in god. You will get better soon and start living a life at home w/ your family and friends. Your story touched my heart and I will pray for you everyday until I hear you are doing wonderful and are feeling better and after that I will pray you stay healthy and happy and having fun.
